Paul and the park!

Today we went to see our friends Logan and Paul. Emma got cozy with little Moe right away! Zoe wasn't too happy that we came home smelling like their two cats :)

Paul's mom is cool, she lets us dance on the table!!

Paul enjoyed pushing Emma in the stroller. Then he offered her a stick, but she's not really into sticks yet!

Ladies first!
.
When we got home from the park they swapped cups. I thought Paul wouldn't want to, because he had juice and she had water, but they both were happy to switch!! They were too funny together.

Pig tails and applesauce

Maybe I could get Emma into marketing products.

Mmm, applesauce - and I like it too!!

Wait just a cherry pickin' moment!

Emma and Zoe talk about teamwork strategies to get some cherries.

Reeeeeeeeach!

Now a taste. Ew, these are sour cherries! I think I'll give mine to Zoe.

Keeping cooool

Emma got this cute little dress from Aunt Teresa yesterday. So, I was trying to get a good picture of it to show her, but Emma was more concerned with trying to get up on this step on Daddy's truck! She loves Daddy's truck. We've only had her in it one time, and that was when we got our Christmas tree. I think it's time she goes for another ride in it!
.
Daddy came rushing in from the garage and said "Come on Emma, I hear the popsicle man!!" So the two of them ran outside and were able to score some treats! I snuck a picture. You know, it's her first popsicle from a stranger in a Jeep. That doesn't happen every day!

Blanket princess

Emma was getting ready for bed and all wrapped up in her fuzzy blanket. Snuggle bug!

Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to bed I go!

Blow, blow, blow your nose...

Emma has a runny nose, so this morning when she was blowing her own nose, she decided that Emma dolly needed a tissue as well. Thanks for sharing Emma girl!

Fountain of Youth

I brought my camera to the library today to try to get a picture of Emma and her new favorite water fountain. She ran right up to it, sat on the stool and pushed the button!

Believe it or not, I didn't get one strange glance for taking a picture of my kid drinking water! Who knew!

Pretty pretty princess!

Me: Emma, you're standing too close to the tv. Come sit back here in your rocking chair (away from tv).

Emma: (Moving rocking chair.) How's this mom? What, I'm sitting!

Emma got some fun mail today from her grrrrreat aunties! Princess dress-up stuff!! She modeled a little bit for us tonight!

Who turned out the lights?!

I'd better run! The clock is about to strike midnight!

Even Teddy got to dress up and play!

A quick little princess video!

Happy Father's Day!

This morning Emma put the final touches on Daddy's gifts! (On a personal note I put the garage stool together all by myself last night and it only took me an hour... very sad, I know!)

Did somebody say... soccer?? Emma also helped out with some raking today! Actually I just took that picture because of her piggy tails. They only stayed in for about 20 minutes this time. Darn!

.
During worship at church this morning, the band had just finished a song and while it was quiet Emma shouted out "YEAH!!" She got a few chuckles and turned heads on that one!

Then we stopped at Old Navy on the way home and got this cute little mermaid swimsuit!

Daddy tickles and kisses before bed!!

Festival fun

Today Emma is 21 months old! This morning we went down to the Tigard Festival of Balloons. The first stop on our adventure was the pancake breakfast. Yum!

They had a lot of giveaways for the kids. Here's Emma doing the bean bag toss to win a soft frisbee. She just needed a little lift from Daddy to slam dunk it!
.
Checking out the police car. Emma, I don't think you want to ride in the backseat there!
.
COOL! I didn't know our police department had ATVs. Emma seemed to like it. Giddy-up!
.
(You'll notice a quick clothing change as the sun came out in full force!)

Junior firefighter Emma reporting for duty!
.
Some BIG boots to fill!

While there, Emma helped the firefighters out by fixing their truck. Leave it to her to find the only moving part on the front of the truck to play with!
.
It really bothered her that this door was open, and she tried to close it several times. One of the firefighters told her it was okay to go ahead and close it :)
.
Riding up high in the passenger seat of the fire truck. She so badly wanted to talk on the radio there!
.
Maybe next year! Emma needs to grow a few more inches in order to ride the kiddie rides!

Emma absolutely loved McGruff the Crime Dog. We were so surprised - we thought she might be too scared to get a picture with him! Then she wouldn't leave him alone! It was so cute. She kept hugging him and even gave him a high five!

.
Wow, we've had a fun day so far! Now, Emma and Daddy are taking their naps :)
